Don't have the strength for monuments? This is what Prague relaxation

Prague attracts hundreds of monuments, museums and trips, but it is not every day that you need to fulfill this program. There are days when a person arrives in the center, looks at the queue in front of Prague Castle and the only thing he wants is to sit down and do nothing at all . Whether it is a tourist after the third day of intensive walking, or a local after a demanding work week, the demand for rest without physical exertion has grown noticeably in recent years. This article looks at what such a day in Prague might look like and why the Bernard Beer Spa is one of the best choices when you simply run out of energy.

What does "low effort" rest mean and why is interest in it growing

The term "low effort" experience describes activities that do not require physical preparation, planning or performance , and yet bring a significant feeling of relaxation. In contrast to tourism, sports activities or long walks through the historical center, these are experiences where the environment and the procedure itself do all the work, not the visitor.

●      The growing popularity of this type of rest is related to the overall fatigue from overcrowded itineraries , when people realize that they do not have to see everything at all costs.

●      Digital fatigue and overload from constant decision-making lead to a demand for experiences where there is no need to choose, plan or solve anything.

●      Tourists often underestimate the physical demands of walking on the pavements and stairs of the historic center and after two or three days they will hit the limit of their own body.

●      Local residents, in turn, are looking for a way to relax after the working week.

Low effort rest is not about laziness, but about a conscious decision to allow the body regeneration when it really needs it.

Beer bath Bernard as an alternative to the active program

The Bernard beer spa is exactly the type of experience that falls into the category of "doing nothing and yet experiencing something". Unlike a walk, a trip or a museum tour, they do not require any movement, any decision-making and any physical preparation . The only thing expected from the guest is to come and let the procedure do its job.

●      The bath takes place in a special beer mixture developed with Pivovar Bernard , which contains the same amount of hops and raw materials as beer, but is purified of alcohol and carbon dioxide.

●      The whole procedure is completely private , so the guest does not have to move anywhere, stand in line or share space with strangers.

●      During the bath, the guests pour themselves unlimited beer right next to the bathtub, so even refreshing does not require any additional activity.

For a person who no longer has the strength to walk another kilometer on cobblestones, the Bernard beer spa represents a fundamentally different type of experience: one where a minimum of energy is invested and maximum regeneration is obtained .

How the procedure goes from arrival to rest

The procedure itself has two subsequent phases:

●      The bath in a warm beer mixture takes place at a temperature of 36 °C, i.e. just below body temperature, and lasts approximately 30 minutes. The guest can adjust the temperature himself, but the bath does not require any activity, just stay immersed and let the heat and active ingredients work.

●      Resting on the heated bed immediately follows the bath. The body is warmed up and relaxed at this moment, and lying on a warm bed deepens this state even more.

The entire procedure takes approximately 60 minutes , and during the entire time the guest does not have to solve anything, go anywhere or worry about anything. Those who are interested in an even deeper regeneration without any personal activity can also order a massage , during which the work with the body is performed exclusively by the masseur.

For whom this type of rest is ideal

A low-effort beer spa type experience is suitable for practically everyone who does not feel the need to be active at the moment, but at the same time does not want to just sit in a hotel room or at home.

●      Tourists in the middle of an intensive program will appreciate the opportunity to stop in the middle of the trip and let the body regenerate without having to sacrifice another day of planning.

●      After a demanding work week, locals find in the procedure a way to relax without having to invent another program or move somewhere.

●      Couples who want to spend time together, but do not feel like going on an active date, will appreciate the privacy and tranquility of the procedure.

So if you are among those who don't have the strength for another monument, queue or kilometer of walking in Prague right now, Pivní lázně Bernard offers exactly what you need: an experience that will do all the work for you .

History of beer baths

Spa as such appeared 4 thousand years ago in India. The ancient Chinese and Egyptians also knew about the beneficial effects of spa on the human body. The history of beer production dates back to the 7th millennium BC, when beer was discovered, probably by mistake, by the ancient Sumerians. They mistook the grain they were growing and the principle of fermentation was invented.

The connection between beer and baths is officially known from the Middle Ages, when the knowledge of the beneficial effects of bathing in beer was established from the sources. The preventive effects of beer baths and beer baths had already been discovered at this time.

History of beer and malt production

The history of beer production dates back to the 7th millennium BC, when beer was discovered, somewhat accidentally, by the ancient Sumerians. It was the method of making beer that began in the poor storage of the grain they grew. The grain was stored in earthenware vessels into which water was poured, and thus the principle of fermentation was discovered.

The production process has remained unchanged for centuries - everything starts with the milling of malt and the subsequent brewing of beer. The wort is then cooled and propagated yeast is used, followed by the main fermentation. This semi-finished beer is placed in beer tanks where the beer lies and matures. After the beer has lain and matured, it undergoes flint and microbiological filtration. This is where all beer lovers rejoice, as after these procedures the beer is bottled and shipped.
